Ingredients:
- Dried whole milk (Khoya) - half kg
- White Flour (Maida) - half cup
- Semolina (sooji) - 2 tbsp
- Baking Soda - half tsp
- Desi Ghee - 1-2 tbsp
- Water - As required
- Sugar - 4 cups
- Pistachio & Almonds - As required
- Mix Khoya, white flour, sooji, baking soda and Desi Ghee in a bowl and make it into the form of a smooth dough with the help of water.
- Now make small size gulab jamuns (small round balls) from this smooth dough.
- Add 4 cups sugar with 2 cups water in a pan and cook until its colors turns to light yellow and it becomes somehow in thick from.
- Now fry all the gulab jamuns into hot oil at medium flame until they turn to medium brown.
- Dip all the gulab jamuns one by one in sugar mixture (sheera).
- Decorate them in a platter by sprinkling piste and almonds on them.
- Tasty gulab jamuns are ready for serving :)
